Indiana High School Basketball - Jay County overwhelms Blackford

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) and the host Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), saw Jay County's basketball squad wallop Blackford by a tally of 62-29.

With the victory, Jay County improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-2.

Next up, the Bruins confront the Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Blackford will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 45-42 non-league win over Cowan (Muncie, IN).
