Illinois High School Basketball - Milford nudges Clifton Central

Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL), 49-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Milford upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL) to clash with the Raiders in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 12-3.
Next up, the Comets clash with the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Clifton Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Sabers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 59-17 league loss to Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL).
