Highland Huskies (Ault, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Huskies host Brush (Brush, CO) to clash with the Beetdiggers in a bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Beetdiggers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Brush lost 57-22 in their recent non-league bout against Sidney (Sidney, NE)

Next up, the Cubs clash with the Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Timnath will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to University (Greeley, CO).
