California High School Basketball - Placer thwarts Rio Linda

The Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), 65-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hillmen (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras go into the test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, Lincoln notched a victory over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 57-43, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pioneer for a test on Monday, January 30. Rio Linda will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 59-51 league loss to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-10.
