Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), 54-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Virginia City upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Muckers travel to Coleville (Coleville, CA) to play the Wolves in a bout on Friday, February 3. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Coleville lost 31-23 in their recent league bout against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV)

Next up, the Falcons play the Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 51-31 non-league loss to Virginia City (Virginia City, NV).
