The Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), 79-56 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Allen for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. Armstrong will play a Jaguars team coming off a 88-54 non-league win over Hylton (Woodbridge, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Mechanicsville falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Hawks in a Capital bout on Friday, January 31. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Hanover won 83-69 in their recent league bout against Henrico (Richmond, VA)
