The Grand Junction Central Warriors (Grand Junction, CO) basketball were winner over the host Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), 66-58 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Palisade for a 6A/5A Southwestern bout on Friday, January 31. Grand Junction Central will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Battle Mountain falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO) to play the Devils in a 5A Western Slope bout on Thursday, January 30. The Devils go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Eagle Valley won 90-47 in their recent non-league bout against Summit (Frisco, CO)
