Ohio High School Basketball - Solon nips Berea-Midpark

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Solon Comets basketball team scored a close 67-65 triumph over the Berea-Midpark Titans.

The Comets (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson (Hudson, OH). The Explorers go into the Suburban - National contest with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Hudson was nudged by North Royalton (North Royalton, OH), 42-39, in a league battle.

The Titans now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midview for a Southwestern battle on Friday, January 31. Berea-Midpark will meet a Middies squad coming off a 57-55 non-league loss to Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Middies record now stands at 2-14.
