Michigan High School Basketball - St. Francis nips Big Rapids

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host St. Francis Gladiators basketball team scored a close 53-49 triumph over the Big Rapids Cardinals.
The Gladiators (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Manistee (Manistee, MI). The Chippewas go into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Manistee nipped Oakridge (Muskegon, MI), 58-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) in a Central State - Gold contest, on Friday, January 31. Big Rapids will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 3-12 record after their 59-57 non-league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, MI).
