Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY), 54-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bluegrass United advances its record to 6-13 on the year. The Bluehawks travel to Model (Richmond, KY) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 9-11. Model won 67-44 in their recent non-league match against Williamstown (Williamstown, KY)

The Bulldogs now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Jessamine for a District 46 match on Friday, January 31.
