The (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sedan (Sedan, KS). The Devils go into the South Central Border contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Sedan was trounced by Oxford (Oxford, KS), 82-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Cherryvale Chargers (Cherryvale, KS) in a Tri-Valley contest, on Friday, January 31. Bluestem will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 76-59 league loss to Neodesha (Neodesha, KS).
