The Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Catholic Central Irish to 71 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Yellow Springs for a Metro Buckeye game on Friday, January 31. Emmanuel Christian Academy will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 77-60 non-league loss to Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Catholic Central falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Irish travel to Madison Plains (London, OH) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Ohio Heritage game on Friday, January 31. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-12. Madison Plains won 43-32 in their recent league game against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH)
