Louisiana High School Basketball - North Central holds off Catholic of Pointe Coupee

The North Central Hurricanes basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets to 39 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now possess a 9-18 record. They play next when they host Opelousas Catholic for a 1A District 5 game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Catholic of Pointe Coupee falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Berchmans Academy (Grand Coteau, LA) to confront the Saints in a 1A District 5 game on Friday, January 31. The Saints go into the game with a record of 7-10.
