The Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), 61-34 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 14-11 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Mountain for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Helena will play a Eagles team coming off a 48-37 non-league win over Calera (Calera, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 20-9.

With the loss, Chilton County falls to 5-18 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Wetumpka lost 59-54 in their recent league bout against Percy Julian (Montgomery, AL)
