The Desert Pines Jaguars basketball squad (Las Vegas, NV), was nudged 63-61 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV)

With the victory, Coronado advances its record to 11-9 on the year. The Cougars host Liberty (Henderson, NV) to meet the Patriots in a 5A Southern battle on Thursday, January 30. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 11-8. Liberty won 69-59 in their recent league battle against Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV)
