Colorado High School Basketball - Lamar nips Crowley County

January 28, 2025: Ordway, CO 81063

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Lamar Thunder basketball team scored a close 46-44 triumph over the Crowley County Chargers.

The Thunder (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO). The Jaguars go into the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, James Irwin was tipped by Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO), 80-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots (Vilas, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Crowley County will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 85-31 non-league loss to Stanton County (Johnson, KS).
