In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Dubuque Senior Rams basketball team scored a good 56-36 win over the Xavier Saints.
The Rams (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA). The Bobcats come into the Mississippi Valley contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Western Dubuque was topped by Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA), 86-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Saints battle the Kennedy Cougars (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Xavier will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 86-40 league win over Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA).
