Maryland High School Basketball - Fairmont Heights overwhelms International High School at Largo

The Fairmont Heights Hornets basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting International High School at Largo Sea Turtles to 24 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Gwynn Park for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game on Thursday, January 30. Fairmont Heights will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 83-55 league loss to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, International High School at Largo falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Sea turtles travel to Central (Capitol Heights, MD) to confront the Falcons in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game on Thursday, January 30. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 2-9. Central won 65-53 in their recent league game against College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD)
