Greater Vision Academy Lions (Gibsonville, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Iron Academy Swordsmen (Raleigh, NC), 68-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Greater Vision Academy advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Fighting Pharaohs in a CAASC Western match on Thursday, January 30. The Fighting Pharaohs enter the match with a record of 14-11. Quality Education Academy lost 91-80 in their recent league match against NC GBB Academy National (Durham, NC)

The Swordsmen now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to C.H. Friend for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. Iron Academy will face a Red Jackets squad coming off a 55-33 non-league loss to Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Red Jackets record now stands at 3-9.
