North Dakota High School Basketball - New England can't hold off Harding County

The Harding County Ranchers nipped the host New England Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 61-59 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Ranchers face the New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 1. Harding County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 5-6 record after their 70-52 non-league loss to Lyman (Presho, SD).

The Tigers (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Beach (Beach, ND). The Buccaneers enter the B District 7 outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Beach was nipped by Alexander (Alexander, ND), 56-53, in a non-league outing.
