In Tuesday's non-league test, the James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) basketball squad defeated the visiting Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD), by a score of 53-42.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 30. James Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Rustlers come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 43-33 non-league loss to McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD).
The Pirates (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Tigers come into the B Region 6 test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Ipswich overcame Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 48-29, in a league test.
