The John Paul II Cardinals basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Nolan Catholic Vikings to 53 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the loss, Nolan Catholic falls to 19-15 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Trinity Christian (Addison, TX) to confront the Trojans in a TAPPS 6A District 1 game on Friday, January 31. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 17-12. Trinity Christian won 93-28 in their recent non-league game against Leadership Prep (Frisco, TX)
