The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH) and the host Perry Commodores (Lima, OH), observed Lima Central Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Perry by a score of 77-40.

The Thunderbirds (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Delphos, OH). The Wildcats come into the Northwest challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson trounced Ayersville (Defiance, OH), 61-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Commodores encounter the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets (Rawson, OH) in a Northwest Central challenge, on Friday, January 31. Perry will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Fighting Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH).
