The Hilltoppers (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sparta (Sparta, WI). The Spartans come into the Mississippi Valley challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Sparta trounced La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI), 52-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Mosinee Indians (Mosinee, WI) in a Great Northern challenge, on Friday, January 31. Medford will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 68-66 non-league win over Xavier (Appleton, WI).
