The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) and the visiting Mound City Panthers (Mound City, MO), observed West Platte's basketball team overcome Mound City by a margin of 28-20.

The Bluejays (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North Platte (Dearborn, MO). The Panthers come into the KCI challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, North Platte defeated Mound City (Mound City, MO), 84-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Polo Panthers (Polo, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Mound City will attempt to better on its 7-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 62-49 non-league win over St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO).
