Indiana High School Basketball - North Montgomery can't hold off West Lafayette

West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN), 53-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, West Lafayette upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Red Devils host Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN) to face the Indians in a Hoosier - West match on Friday, January 31. The Indians enter the match with a record of 10-6. Twin Lakes lost 55-49 in their recent league match against Logansport (Logansport, IN)

The Chargin' Chargers now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Boone for a Sagamore match on Friday, January 31. North Montgomery will face a Stars squad coming off a 57-45 league loss to Danville (Danville, IN). The Stars record now stands at 3-10.
