The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS) and the visiting Stockton Tigers (Stockton, KS), observed Northern Valley's basketball team overcome Stockton by a margin of 54-43.

The Huskies (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Plains (Ransom, KS). The Bobcats come into the Western Kansas Liberty challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Western Plains dropped by Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS), 52-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Pike Valley Panthers (Scandia, KS) in a Northern Plains challenge, on Friday, January 31. Stockton will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 38-33 league loss to Thunder Ridge (Kensington, KS).
