In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Superior Spartans basketball team scored a good 48-34 triumph over the River Falls Wildcats.
The Spartans (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN). The Wolverines go into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI) in a Big Rivers contest, on Friday, January 31. River Falls will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 0-14 record after their 54-14 league loss to Menomonie (Menomonie, WI).
