The St. Mary's Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting University Academy Charter Gryphons to 38 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. St. Mary's Academy will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 69-60 non-league loss to Centralia (Centralia, KS). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, University Academy Charter falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO) to confront the Eagles in a Crossroads game on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 15-3. Summit Christian Academy won 77-40 in their recent non-league game against Hogan Prep Charter (Kansas City, MO)
