In Tuesday's league contest, the host Staples Wreckers basketball team scored a big 73-50 win over the Warde Mustangs.

The Wreckers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Hilltoppers come into the Fairfield County contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Bridgeport Central smashed Wilton (Wilton, CT), 56-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Warde will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
