The Archbishop Wood Vikings basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host West Catholic Burrs to 29 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Neumann-Goretti for a Philadelphia Catholic game on Friday, January 31. Archbishop Wood will play a Saints team coming off a 64-16 league win over Little Flower Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA). The Saints record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, West Catholic falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Burrs host Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA) to play the Eagles in a Philadelphia Catholic game on Thursday, January 30. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 7-12. Conwell-Egan Catholic lost 59-23 in their recent league game against Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA)
