The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Benton Cardinals (St. Joseph, MO) and the host St. Pius X Warriors (Kansas City, MO), observed Benton's basketball team overcome St. Pius X by a margin of 59-48.

The Cardinals (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithville (Smithville, MO). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Smithville dropped by Platte County (Platte City, MO), 48-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) in a Midland Empire challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. St. Pius X will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record.
