In Tuesday's league contest, the host Bishop Guertin Cardinals basketball team scored a close 47-43 triumph over the Salem Blue Devils.

The Cardinals (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Merrimack (Merrimack, NH). The Tomahawks go into the Division I contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Merrimack was tipped by Nashua South (Nashua, NH), 61-24, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils confront the Windham Jaguars (Windham, NH) in a Division I contest, on Friday, January 31. Salem will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 65-40 league loss to Bedford (Bedford, NH).
