Concordia Fighting Orioles (Concordia, MO) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO), 61-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Concordia advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Fighting Orioles travel to Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-14.
The Panthers now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a Missouri River Valley - East match on Monday, February 3. Knob Noster will face a Minutemen squad coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to Crest Ridge (Centerview, MO). The Minutemen record now stands at 7-9.
