The Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA), 82-31 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Western Branch for a Southeastern bout on Friday, January 31. Deep Creek will play a Bruins team coming off a 58-33 non-league win over Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Grassfield falls to 13-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Southeastern bout on Friday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Great Bridge won 56-44 in their recent league bout against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)
