Washington High School Basketball - Meridian nips Ferndale

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Meridian Trojans basketball team scored a close 51-44 win over the Ferndale Golden Eagles.

The Trojans (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon was tipped by Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA), 58-48, in a league contest.
