Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River trounced by Nansemond River

The Indian River Braves basketball squad (Chesapeake, VA), was crushed 55-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA)

With the victory, Nansemond River advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Warriors host Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to meet the Tigers in a Southeastern battle on Friday, January 31. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 6-7. Oscar Smith lost 41-35 in their recent league battle against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)

The Braves now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King's Fork for a Southeastern battle on Friday, January 31. Indian River will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-29 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-3.
