Indiana High School Basketball - Maconaquah thwarts Northwestern

January 28, 2025: Bunker Hill, IN 46914

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN) and the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN), observed Maconaquah's basketball team knock off Northwestern by a score of 58-50.

The Braves (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis Cass (Walton, IN). The Kings come into the Three Rivers challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Lewis Cass prevailed over Logansport (Logansport, IN), 46-14, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Friday, January 31. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 53-35 non-league win over Southern Wells (Poneto, IN).
