Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) in a 5A District 3 test, on Friday, January 31. New Iberia will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 5-17 record after their 65-31 league loss to Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA).

The Sharks (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Carencro (Lafayette, LA). The Bears come into the 5A District 3 test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Carencro beat Acadiana (Lafayette, LA), 58-22, in a league test.
