With the victory, Port Barre advances its record to 8-9 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Rapides (Lecompte, LA) to meet the Mustangs in a 2A District 5 battle on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 7-13. Rapides lost 40-23 in their recent non-league battle against Grant (Dry Prong, LA)

The Warriors now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delcambre for a non-league battle on Friday, February 7.
