In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Oswego Panthers basketball team scored a big 77-49 triumph over the Romeoville Spartans.

The Panthers (13-12) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers enter the SouthWest Prairie - West battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Plainfield North walloped Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 68-20, in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now own a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield South for a SouthWest Prairie - East battle on Thursday, January 30. Romeoville will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 80-50 league loss to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 9-16.
