In Tuesday's non-league test, the Wellston Tigers (Wellston, OK) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK), by a score of 34-26.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Oklahoma Bible Trojans (Enid, OK) in a Freelance test, on Saturday, February 1. Wellston will attempt to improve on its 22-2 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 20-0 record after their 46-41 non-league win over Waukomis (Waukomis, OK).
The Black Bears (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Huskies come into the 89er - East test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Pawhuska beat Wilson-Henryetta (Henryetta, OK), 61-22, in a non-league test.
