The Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), 59-17 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Metairie Park Country Day for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30.
With the loss, Varnado falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to play the Rebels in a 1A District 10 bout on Friday, January 31. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 1-9.
