The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Deep Creek Hornets to 41 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Great Bridge for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Grassfield will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 43-33 non-league win over Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Deep Creek falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Bruins in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 1-3.
