The Sunnyslope Vikings soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Apollo Hawks to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Xavier College Prep for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Sunnyslope will play a Gators squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Gators record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Apollo moves to 1-10 on the year. The Hawks host Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Tolleson lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ)
