The Lake County Panthers basketball squad (Leadville, CO), was nudged 40-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO)

With the victory, Alameda advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Pirates host Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO) to meet the Generals in a battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Generals enter the battle with a record of 4-7.

The Panthers now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Lupton for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. Lake County will meet a Bluedevils squad coming off a 51-27 non-league win over Platte Canyon (Bailey, CO). The Bluedevils record now stands at 4-5.
