In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Mt. Eden Monarchs soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Piedmont Highlanders.

The Monarchs (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Dons enter the West Alameda County - Shoreline outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Arroyo was edged by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 3-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Highlanders confront the Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA) in a West Alameda County - Shoreline outing, on Thursday, January 30. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Farmers enter the outing with a 3-8 record after their 5-0 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA).
