The Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) basketball felled the host East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS), 72-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears (13-12) will now prepare for their test against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Corinth went down by Biggersville (Corinth, MS), 63-38, in a non-league test.
The Urchins now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host West Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 1. East Union will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 77-49 league win over Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 18-7.
