Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH) and the host East Clinton Astros (Sabina, OH), saw Wilmington's basketball squad wallop East Clinton by a tally of 61-26.
With the victory, Wilmington improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Hurricane travel to Batavia (Batavia, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-5.
Next up, the Astros confront the Williamsburg Wildcats (Williamsburg, OH) in a Southern Buckeye - National challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. East Clinton will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 62-42 league loss to Batavia (Batavia, OH).
