Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) and the host South Ripley Raiders (Versailles, IN), saw Shelbyville's basketball squad hold off South Ripley by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, Shelbyville improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 14-1.
